Morning
Coffee and Pastries in Sorrento
Your day begins bright and early in Sorrento, a charming town that serves as the gateway to the Amalfi Coast. The streets here are adorned with lemon trees, cobblestone alleys, and quaint shops, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. But before you set out to explore, fuel up at the renowned Pasticceria Monica.
This local gem is known for its incredible pastries, which are almost too pretty to eat. I recommend grabbing a lemon-filled croissant, a tribute to Sorrento's famous lemons, paired with an espresso to kick any lingering jet lag to the curb. If you're lucky, snag a seat on the terrace and enjoy the lively streets as you eat your breakfast. It is the perfect spot for some early-morning people-watching.
While Sorrento is a lovely destination in itself, you're just getting started. After your energizing breakfast, it's time to lace up your hiking boots and head out for an adventure on the Punta Campanella Trail.
Hike Punta Campanella
